My Project: For my poster I decided to gear it towards young voters. Since the younger generations are very connected to their phones and technology I decided to refer to the volume of a phone by showing it turned up and referencing its opposite by saying don't be silenced. I also alluded to phones and technology by putting my text inside messaging bubbles. Finally, the background is meant to resemble encryption coding since text messages are encrypted. Within the background there is an opacity difference, the darker green shows statements and statistics of why individuals don't vote while the lighter green is just random coding. I chose this as my background to try and make viewers stop and look so they could figure out what was written in the background.
